Shillong, Dec 17:  Almost 2000 people including local leaders like Rocky Marak (ex-organising secretary VPP), Nokmahs, Village sardars, lecturers, and many grass root NPP supporters and youth leaders today joined the BJP in a program organised at Resubelpara.

The joining happened in the presence of Assam BJP Media Convenor – Rupam Goswami, National Council Member – Rikman Momin, ex-NPP MLA – Benedic R. Marak, MDC and State Vice President – Bernard Marak, ex-CEM – Dipul Marak, MDC – Dharmonath Sangma, and district presidents among others.

Goswami welcomed all people to the BJP and assured them that the BJP would start working for their upliftment immediately upon forming the government after the next elections.

He congratulated them for choosing development, and promised the people that very soon the Garo Hills will experience the same development that many other states under BJP governments are experiencing now.

Rikman too promised the people that vision of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi for Meghalaya would be fully and speedily implemented in the state after elections.

Bernard assured the people the next BJP led government will fight and root out corruption from the state and ensure that every penny meant for the people reach the people.
