Shillong Sept 24: A border co-ordination meeting between Inspector General, BSF and Region Commanders, Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) began in Shillong on Tuesday.

The meeting being held at the BSF Frontier Headquarter, Umpling, Shillong, will conclude on September 27.^ 

A 12-member Bangladeshi delegation was led by Md Zakir Hossain of the BGB.

The 13-member Indian delegation was headed by Kuldeep Sani, Inspector General BSF, Meghalaya Frontier.

Issues related to smuggling, cross border crimes and other issues related to cooperation between the two border guarding forces are the main agendas of the meeting.
