Shillong,May 16: KHNAM meets on MeECL plight following the alleged indifference on the part of MeECL in appointing the jugalis despite the deadlines of May 15 has been served.
Addressing a press conference on Monday KHNAM youth wing president Thomas Passah said KHNAM has called upon all qualified jugalis (helpers of lineman) across the Meghalaya to attend a public meeting at Students Field, Jaiaw on May 19 on the delay to provide appointment letters to the jugalis by the MeECL.

There are 772 qualified jugali candidate and their appointments are to be done in phase-wise manner.466 jugalis under phase II and III are yet to be appointed ,while 306 have been issued appointment letters in first phase, Passah informed.
