Shillong, October 22: The Senior Women’s Zonal Selection Committee for the North East Zone has announced a 15-member squad to represent the region in the BCCI Senior Women’s Inter Zonal T20 Trophy 2025–26, scheduled to be held in Nagaland from November 4 to 14.
Notably, three players from Meghalaya — Riticia Nongbet, Debasmita Dutta, and Solina Jaba — have been included in the squad, with Debasmita Dutta appointed as team captain. Additionally, Baiahunlang Mylliemngap, also from Meghalaya, will serve as team manager.
The selection committee meeting, convened by Meghalaya Cricket Association President Nababrata Bhattacharjee, took place in Guwahati on Monday. The meeting included detailed discussions and verification of players’ performance statistics from various BCCI senior women’s tournaments in 2024–25 and the ongoing 2025–26 season.
