Shillong, October 22: The Meghalaya Cricket Association (MCA) has announced its 15-member squad for the first two matches of the U-19 Men’s Cooch Behar Trophy 2025–26, along with five standby players.
The team, largely retaining the core group from the recently concluded U-19 Men’s Vinoo Mankad Trophy, features several promising young talents who helped Meghalaya secure three victories in that one-day tournament.
Angkit Tamang will lead the side as captain, with Gaurav Narleng named vice-captain. The squad will undergo a preparatory camp from November 4 to 12 at Jagiroad, Assam, ahead of the season opener.
Meghalaya’s campaign begins with a home fixture against Sikkim in Shillong from November 16, followed by an away match against Manipur in Anand, Gujarat, from November 23.
