Shillong, Oct 24: The Meghalaya Cricket Association (MCA) has shortlisted a pool of 25 players for the upcoming BCCI Senior Women’s Domestic Season 2025–26, based on the recommendations of the senior women’s selection committee.
The selection was made after assessing performances in recent trial matches, along with players’ showings in the BCCI tournaments of 2023–24 and 2024–25.
According to the MCA, a second phase of trials for the shortlisted players will be conducted from October 27 to 31 at Nongkhrah, Nongpoh, followed by a preparatory camp ahead of the season. The U-23 Women’s T20 Trophy will be the first tournament of the new season for the Meghalaya women’s team, beginning November 24.
