Shillong, Dec 11: A resident of Kynjat Phutbol, Shillong, who worked as a city waste collector and also drove a taxi at Last Stop, Laban, was found dead at his home on Sunday evening, leaving the locality in shock.
The circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear, and authorities have yet to determine the cause. Family members, including his two young children, are reportedly devastated by the sudden loss.
According to local functionary Bah David Nongkynrih, the incident occurred shortly before dusk. However, details regarding what may have led to the tragedy are still uncertain.
Residents of the area expressed grief over the incident, describing the deceased as a well-behaved and hardworking individual who was respected within the community.
