SHILLONG, AUG 21: The NPP office at Lachaumiere in Shillong and the office of the SE, PWD (Roads) in Nongstoin were targeted in petrol bomb attacks on Thursday night and Friday morning.

Police said two petrol bombs were hurled at the NPP office around 5 am on Friday. One exploded while the other failed to detonate. 

No damage was caused. 

Forensic and police teams collected evidence from the spot.

In Nongstoin, West Khasi Hills, miscreants hurled a petrol bomb at the PWD office on Thursday night. 

No damage was reported.

Cases have been registered and investigation is underway in both incidents.
