Shillong, Jan 20: A Parliamentary Standing Committee on Health and Family Welfare led by its chairman and Member of Parliament, Dr Manoj Rajoria visited Composite Hospital BSF Shillong here on Saturday.
They interacted with patients and enquired about their health and the way they are being looked after by team of doctors of Composite Hospital BSF Shillong.
Dr Manoj, after interacting with indoor and outdoor patients, and staff of the hospital, made a round of all vital installations of the hospital and praised the way hospital is being maintained.
During a meeting, members of the committee were briefed by DIG (Medical) Dr A.C. Bhardwajan, about the activities of BSF medical team who rendered their service not only at the Composite Hospital but for the border population as well.
Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee also interacted with BSF Meghalaya Frontier, inspector-general, P.K. Dubey, and lauded works done by the BSF for border population.
