Shillong, Jul 15: The Meghalaya Football Association cordially wishes to extend an invitation to schools, communities, clubs and academies to apply to take part in the Meghalaya Baby League 2019 (Mawngap and Smit zones).
The MFA had opened applications for the Shillong zone earlier this month and received an overwhelmingly positive response.
In keeping with its desire to expand the Baby League to other parts of the state, the MFA will now open applications for the new Mawngap and Smit zones tomorrow, July 16, and will close on Friday, July 19. Interested parties may visit the office of the MFA, in the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium from 1:00pm to 5:00pm or email firstname.lastname@example.org to seek further information regarding the criteria that will have to be met by participating teams.
There are openings for 6 teams in the Mawngap zone and another 6 in the Smit zone.
First rights of refusal for applications will rest with the teams that took part in the Meghalaya Baby League 2018 and secondary preference will be given to community and school teams.
