Shillong, Jan 16: The NCP in Meghalaya is set to have its own party office as a foundation stone was laid by NCP general secretary, Praful Patel for constructing the office.
Patel is visiting Meghalaya for two days to oversee preparations of the party for the upcoming Assembly polls. He will visit Garo Hills on Wednesday.
NCP secretary in-charge, Northeast, Narendra Verma, new state NCP president, Saleng A Sangma and other leaders were present on the occasion.
The office will be built in an area around 3,000 square feet, near the BJP office at Bivar Road, Oakland here.
