Kohli accompanied BJP national general secretary (in-charge organization) Ram Lal, who is on a three-day visit to the city where he will hold meetings of the party’s organizational set up in the state for the 2018 Assembly election.
“The party is in close touch with BJP leaders like Ram Madhav and Himanta Biswa Sarma to prepare the party’s plans for the 2018 Assembly election in Meghalaya,” Kohli said.
Kohli also lambasted Chief Minister Dr.Mukul Sangma for failing to repair wooden bridges in Garo Hills using Central funds.
“If the Congress-led government could not use funds for building bridges, what bridges would the Chief Minister build with the voters of Meghalaya so late now?” Kohli asked
