Cachar SP announces cash reward for information on child abductor

Khliehriat June 15: Assam police have announced a cash reward to anyone who can provide information leading to the arrest of an accused involved in abducting a child who was rescued from Khliehriat on June 13.

Cachar police are taking all steps to arrest the accused who had allegedly kidnapped the two-year old child, Trisha.

According to Cachar Superintendent of Police, Rakesh Roshan, a cash reward of Rs. 20,000 would be given to anyone who can provide information on the whereabouts of the accused, Rambha Bagdi alias Niha and urged those who see her to inform police on 094357440101/09435612060.

The child was abducted since June 5 and rescued from Khliehriat on June 13 with the help of a barber, who made a phone call to Khliehriat Police Station. The child was abandoned by an unknown person in the barber shop. Later the child was handed over to Khliehriat police.
