Shillong, Aug 14: The proscribed Hynñiewtrep National Liberation Council (HNLC) said that it would not be able to continue its struggle without people’s support.
Issuing a statement on the occasion of its 30th anniversary, HNLC general secretary, Chesterfield Thangkhiew expressed his gratitude to members of the outfit, and family members of the members who had passed away.
The HNLC was formed on August 14, 1987.
The outfit also extended its wishes to leaders of different social organizations that work for the uplift and protection of indigenous community and its people.
