SHILLONG, APR 15: A CM Connect programme was held at Ksehkolong village where the Chief Minister interacted with the with the residents and listened to their concerns, issues and needs where several residents raised issues pertaining to community led tourism projects, internal link roads to villages, salaries of private school teachers etc among others.

Residents also presented memorandums to the Chief Minister on specific needs.

The Chief Minister assured the residents that the government stands committed to engaging and working towards addressing the concerns reaffirming the government’s commitment to ensure equitable and inclusive development.

Later, the Chief Minister also inspected the tourism site at Nohthlong.

Also present during the CM Connect were MLA, Nongstoin, G Wahlang, Deputy Commissioner, Hema Nayak besides officials from different departments.
