CONG REGIME TO END IN MEGHALAYA BY 2018 – BJYM

SHILLONG, APR 26: The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) today said the ruling Congress in Meghalaya will record in its history book that Mukul Sangma will be its last chief minister and its regime will come to an end in 2018.

“The 21st Century is the ending era of Congress party from Indian soil and its last breath will be in the upcoming assembly election 2018 in Meghalaya,” BJYM president Egenstar Kurkalang said in a statement issued here on Wednesday.

Reacting to recent tall claims made by the Meghalaya Pradesh Youth Congress (MPYC), he said, “We sympathized them (MPYC) for still claiming that the Congress will come back in power in the next assembly elections.”

He said that this was despite of knowing the fact that the state exchequer has become bankrupt, corruption in every department, rising crimes against women, increase of dropouts, unemployed youths and zero development in rural areas.

Alleging that public money were used and spent in organizing festivals only for enjoyment of ministers, he said, “Thus examining from its performance we can call MUA-II Government as Festival and Enjoyment Government.”

Meanwhile, the BJYM also claimed the public will give their verdict of “Zero Congress legislators” in 60 seats of Meghalaya Legislative Assembly Election and Meghalaya under BJP led Government will begin to rise.
