Shillong, Sept 16: Lok Sabha MP from Tura, Conrad K. Sangma attended the Arunodoi, the Northeast Student and Youth Summit held at Indira Gandhi National Centre of Arts.
In his address to the youth, he shared the potential of the youth in developing the North East.
He encouraged them to take suggestions and innovative policy ideas presented at the summit to realize their potential.
At the event in the presence of Gen. V. K. Singh Minister of State for External Affairs, the Sangma also emphasized the need to develop the easier access for tourists from Bangladesh.
The MP took time to make it to the event after having convened a week-long set of Disha meeting from September 11 to 15 in the five districts of his constituency (Garo Hills) to review the implementation of various central schemes and policy.
