Shillong, March 2: The chairman of the Garo National Liberation Army Champion Sangma was granted bail by a lower court on February 21 with two conditions that he would pay Rs 1 lakh as bond amount and would not leave East Khasi Hills district. However, Sangma is back in judicial custody in connection with an extortion in Baghmara, South Garo Hills. Police have already chargesheeted him in connection with the present case.
