Dimapur, May 06: Based on specific input regarding presence of armed cadres in general area Jalukie town, Peren, Nagaland, troops of 36 Assam Rifles launched a search operation on 05 May 2017.
During the operation, 5 AK series Rifles, one US made Gun, one Shot gun, one pt 22 Rifle, one Pellet gun, 2 Pistols, 5 Hand grenades, one Radio set, 300 rounds of various calibres and various documents related to NSCN(IM) were seized. 9 individuals including one SS Capt and one Area Political Organiser of NSCN(IM) were apprehended.
