Shillong, Sept 11: The Kiang Nangbah Government College Students’ Union (KNGCSU) has asked the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) to immediately dissolve its unit from the college.

“We have asked the leaders of the ABVP Jaintia Hills Unit and Meghalaya Unit to immediately dissolve its unit formed in the college to avoid misunderstanding,” KNGCSU general secretary Justice Paul Lyngdoh said in a statement issued here.

He said that rules of the college do not allow any other body to exist in the college except the elected students’ union of the college.

The recent formation of the ABVP KNGC Unit was strongly opposed by the students of the college.
