Shillong, August 25: Former Khasi Students’ Union (KSU) general secretary Donald V. Thabah said the organisation will convene an emergency meeting to discuss the arrest and continued detention of its top leaders.

Thabah said the KSU would continue to exert pressure on the State Government for the release of the arrested leaders.

He said the union would deliberate on the situation and decide its next course of action during the emergency meeting.

The organisation is expected to announce further steps after completing its internal deliberations.
