Shillong, Jan 20: Meghalaya’s 46th Statehood Day to be observed on 22nd January 2018 instead of 21st January 2018 which falls on a Sunday this year, the official function to commemorate the occasion will be held on the 22nd January 2018 (Monday) at U Soso Tham Auditorium, State Central Library, Shillong from 11.00 AM onwards wherein the Hon’ble Governor of Meghalaya, Shri. Ganga Prasad will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest.
Alongside the official programme, an added attraction will be the Flower Show to be organized by the Horticulture Department in the State Central Library premises.
As part of the celebration, Free entry for the public at Ward’s Lake and Lady Hydari Park is allowed on 21st January 2018 (Sunday).
