Shillong, 4 Apr 20: Meghalaya Police had launch (CoVID-19 Fake News Verification Portal) where public can verify the authenticity of news/article being shared in social media and other medium which are pertaining to CoVID-19.

Information seeker on successfully completed the application will be received acknowledgement as well as short message service (SMS) indicating the completion of the application. After the information has been verified the applicant will be intimated regarding the authenticity of the news / information through short message service (SMS) and through email.
