Only the three guest-professionals Punit Bisht (84), Sanjay Yadav (21) and Ravi Teja (11) managed to get into double figures as Meghalaya were dismissed for 148.

Still trailing by over 300 runs, Chandigarh enforced the follow-on and skittled Meghalaya for 118 to win by an innings and 189 runs. Bisht made another half-century, out for 54.

Finally, in the Col CK Nayudu Trophy, hosts Bihar resumed on 284/5 on the second day in Patna and were finally dismissed for 489. Elchiang Ch Momin was the pick of the Meghalaya bowlers, finishing with a six-wicket haul (6/106).
