Shillong,May 26: Ambitious in expanding its plan for Eastern India, Midmark (India), a provider of medical equipment and solutions Midmark launched the company first “state-of-the-art” experience centre for North East India in Shillong in partnership with its authorised distributor “Arti Enterprises” on Friday.
This will be the company’s first “state-of-the-art” sixth experience centre in the country and first in Northeast.
The display centre will showcase a “Barrier Free” OPD room, advance hospital beds and allied medical furniture. The company operates in four main business areas: medical furniture, including hospitals beds and OPD spaces, diagnostics, homecare and skill development.
Speaking on the occasion, Sumeet Aggarwal, Managing Director, Midmark (India) said, “Midmark (India) is committed to providing meaningful innovations to provides patient comfort and safety, as well as enable delivery of better outcomes. Customers will be taken on an interactive journey through the product and solution offerings and will be able to discuss about efficient clinical spaces with the experts who care for their vision.
Government of India envisions in improving accessibility to healthcare facilities to Indians across the country. As stated in the new National Health Policy, it plans to add 1.8 million beds in next ten years, Sumeet Aggarwal added.
