Shillong Feb 16: The North East Dialogue Forum (NEDF) strongly condemned the deadliest attack that killed 40 CRPF soldiers in a massive car bombing at Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.

“The NEDF strongly condemns this worst act of terror on Indian soil in the last few years and stands united with our Government, defence, para-military and police forces and innocent people of Jammu and Kashmir in this critical hour of testing our patience and tolerance. Terrorism of any kind and coming from anywhere can never be tolerated,” Dr. P. B. M. Basaiawmoit said in the NEDF’s statement on Saturday.

The NEDF conveyed its heartfelt sympathy and condolence to the immediate relatives of the martyred CRPF personnel who gave their lives for the motherland and prayed to the Almighty for comfort and strengthen them in this hour of bereavement and sense of loss of their dear and near ones.
The NEDF also conveyed its gratitude to all countries and global organisations that share with India’s hour of shock and for expressing solidarity with the Government and people of sovereign India.
