SHILLONG, OCT 5: Deputy Chief Minister and NPP state president Prestone Tynsong on Monday trashed reports claiming a cabinet berth was promised to new BJP entrants, stating that no such condition exists.

“I have seen in your newspapers, but I don’t know from where you get the sources. I would like to ask all of you who brought out that statement, from where you have written it? As far as the NPP party is concerned, there was no such condition made, be it from the high command of BJP or high command of NPP,” Tynsong said.

He said the MDA government is stable and will complete its full term.

“We don’t have any problem. The MDA government will go on, will fully complete and we will also go beyond the term,” he added.

On reports of the BJP trying to split the NPP, Tynsong said, “No such attempt at all.”
