Shillong,July 19: An electric pole with trees fell on Wednesday morning at Laitumkhrah a road from St.Mary’s College and school, after a rains hit Shillong last night, sources informed.
An electric pole fell and landed on a SPTS bus damaging the roof of the bus. Whereas a vehicle (ML05- M-9348) which was parked in the roadside near St.Mary’s college was damaged under the weight of the tree. Fortunately no one was inside the vehicle when the incident occurred.
There was no loss to human life and no injuries were reported.
