Shillong, March 2 : The Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination (SSLC) conducted by Meghalaya Board of School Education got underway today amid tight security. The number of SSLC candidates this time has gone up to 52,100. Last year 50,126 students appeared in the SSLC examination. The SSLC examination will be conducted in 134 centres. Dispatching of examination material started two weeks ago.
