Shillong, March 15 : The Inspectorate of Electricity which is the State Designated Agency on Energy Conservation in collaboration with EESL, New Delhi, has launched the UJALA Scheme in the State of Meghalaya, whereby, LED bulbs of 9 Watt are sold at the rate of Rs. 70.00 each with 3 years warranty and LED tube lights of 20 Watt are sold at the rate of Rs. 230.00 each with 2.5 years warranty in all the outlets setup by EESL across the State of Meghalaya.
The Inspectorate of Electricity appeals the people to avail the scheme to lower their electricity bill and make the State more energy efficient
