Shillong, Feb 19: After a sensational murder of NCP candidate  Jonathone N Sangma on Sunday night Williamnagar polling date likely to change.
As per the Election Commission of India (Â ECI) guidelines, if any candidate for any reason dies before the election, the polling dates get postponed.
Twitting after the incident Meghalaya Chief Minister Mukul Sangma deeply condemns the incident saying that he is deeply saddened by the incident and has pointed that such acts by the enemies of the State will not be able to disturb the peace of Meghalaya.
Condolences and Condemnation pours out from the various political parties of the Meghalaya.
Official Confirmation awaited from the Election Commission over the rescheduling of polling date.
