Shillong, June 22: To commemorate the impact music which has on our lives, World Music Day 2017 was celebrated in Shillong on Wednesday.

The main objective of the festival was to spread and promote music, especially among street musicians making all genres of music accessible to the public.

The people of Shillong gathered in hordes to celebrate the World Music Day celebration organised by the Andante School of Music of Meghalaya, promoters and lovers of music in the spirit of unity and love.

The evening saw musicians from all genres, ages, experienced perform together on one stage.
