Shillong Sept 3: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma on Monday called on Union Minister of State Housing and Urban Affairs, Hardeep Singh Puri along with State Urban Development Minister Hamletson Dohling.

In the meeting, a number of issues were discussed with regards to Smart City funding for Meghalaya, issues of funding under the 15th Finance Commission, pending release under 10 % lumpsum and additional fund allocation for Laitumkhrah and Polo Market in Shillong.

The Union Minister was very positive to all issues raised and discussed during the meeting and assured full support and cooperation to improve urban facilities and amenities in Meghalaya.
