Shillong Feb 10: The State government through the Urban Affairs department has sought feedbacks from citizens and let it know their perception in connection with the quality of life in the city.
This is as part of the ‘Ease of Living Index Assessment’, a citizen perception survey being conducted on behalf of the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.
Urban Affairs minister, Hamletson Dohling told reporters on Monday that the survey has started on February 1, and it will end on February 29.
Urging the citizens to feed their views, Dohling said that feedbacks received from the citizens would capture the perception of citizens with respect to quality of life in their city and this would in turn helped the government do proper planning and ease the living.
“Through this perception survey, we will know what the citizens want,” he said.
This survey is being administered online and citizens can submit their feedbacks through www.eol2019.org
