Shillong August 24: The Adventurous Hynñiewtrep Off-Roaders Club will represent Meghalaya at the Ziro Mud Fest in Arunachal Pradesh on August 27 and 28.

Addressing the media at the Shillong Press Club on Monday, club representative Ferdinand Kharjahrin said the team was fully prepared to compete in the prestigious off-road motorsport event.

The club will field an experienced driver, backed by a specially prepared off-road vehicle and a dedicated technical team. Kharjahrin appealed to motorsport enthusiasts and the people of Meghalaya to extend their support and follow the team’s performance during the festival.

He said participation in the event would provide valuable exposure to the club while helping promote off-road motorsport in Meghalaya.

Despite the challenging terrain and strong competition expected at the event, the team expressed confidence in putting up a strong performance.

Kharjahrin also announced that the club is preparing to organise a major off-road event from October 15 to 17. He said this year’s edition is expected to be bigger than previous editions, with several activities planned for motorsport enthusiasts and visitors.
