Shillong, Sept 13: Renowned and award winning film maker of Meghalaya Pradip Kurbah may be joining hands with Bollywood singer, film maker from Assam Zubin Garg soon to make a movie.
“We have a lot of film projects in hand right now and one by one we will make it. Pradip Kurbah is also planning something with me he is a good friend of mine so may be in future we will work together,” said Garg while speaking to the media during his visit to the state on Tuesday.
Garg visited the state to promote his Assamese movie Mission China which is running houseful across many centers in Assam in the since its release on Friday, 8 September. Garg directed, produced and acted in the movie.
He first visited the North-eastern Hill University where a large impatient crowd greeted him. Garg interacted with the students and sang few songs before proceeding towards St. Anthony’s College which also witnessed a huge rush of fans and students.
Later in the evening Garg also met the Lajong FC players at Anjalee Cinema hall.
Stating that the film has broken all the records in three days, Garg said, “The excitement is here and so it is my pleasure to be here”.
Talking about the film Gargsaid, “It is a different kind of film. I have for the first time first time tried something in Hollywood style… full action pack, romance and I am playing the role of an army officer”.
On the response of the movie, Garg said that the response is good and it has broken the record of Bahubali also.
The movie starring Assamese superstar Zubeen Garg has been estimated to be one of the biggest releases in Assam. The movie starts Zubeen Garg and Deeplina Deka in lead roles.
