Shillong, June 06: The Central government is organising Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas sammelan (conference) in 10 locations across Meghalaya.
The conference is being organised in coordination with the Indian Oil Corporation, NEEPCO and BSNL. A total of 583 locations across the country have been identified.
The purpose of conference is to increase awareness on the schemes of the government that have made difference and positively impacted lives.
These schemes have able to make everyone feel not only beneficiaries but also partners in the process of development.
The sammelan will also highlight the country’s exponential growth in the last three years.
The Union Government’s central dogma has been ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas’ which promotes inclusive development and this will be brought out through these events.
The upcoming sammelans will be held on June 7 at Ampati, June 8 at Umsning and June 10 at Amlarem for two hours wherein information on the schemes would be shared.
Several of the common-man-centric welfare schemes which are some of the several initiatives of the government that have benefitted millions of marginalized and hitherto excluded sections include, Pradhan Mantri Ujwala Yojna, Pradhan Mandtri MUDRA Yojna, Jan Dhan Yojna, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna, Ujala Yojana, Rural Electrification, Jan Aushadhi Yojna, Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sichayee Yojna, Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojna, Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao, Sukanya Samridhi Yojna, Swachh Bharat Mission, UDAN.
