Shillong, June 25: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma on Thursday visited the Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC) in Telangana and said the Meghalaya Government is exploring the possibility of adopting a similar model in the state.

Following his visit to the facility, the Chief Minister said the ICCC’s key strength lies not only in its advanced technological infrastructure but also in its ability to bring multiple government departments onto a single platform, enabling seamless coordination and efficient service delivery.

Describing the Telangana ICCC as one of the finest command and control centres in the country, Sangma highlighted its effective use of technology to improve governance, monitor public services and facilitate real-time decision-making.

He said the centre serves as an excellent example of how technology can be leveraged to enhance administrative efficiency and strengthen coordination among various departments. According to him, the model offers valuable insights for states seeking to modernise governance systems and improve citizen services.

The Chief Minister noted that he personally visited the facility to gain a better understanding of its operations, technological framework and best practices.

Sangma further stated that the Meghalaya Government would work towards implementing a similar integrated system in the state, with the objective of strengthening governance mechanisms, improving inter-departmental collaboration and ensuring more efficient delivery of public services to citizens.
