Shillong, March 16: Rules for implementing the Meghalaya Residents Safety and Security Act are being framed.
Replying to a question raised by UDP MLA, Jeminor Mawthoh, Chief Minister, Mukul Sangma said that the government would soon complete in framing the rules to implement the Act.
He said that the Meghalaya Residents Safety and Security Act, 2016 received the assent of the Governor on September 26, 2016 after the Bill was passed by the State Assembly.
