NEIGRIHMS observed 7th Annual cum Convocation Day

Shillong, March 7 : NEIGRIHMS observed the 7^th Annual cum Convocation Day held on 6^th March 2017. The Indira Gandhi Oration was delivered by Prof. RN Salhan, MCH Consultant SAARC & Ex Director NEIGRIHMS which narrated a brief memory about (L) Smt. Indira Gandhi and stressed on reduction of infant death in the 8 SAARC countries. Prof. Vandana Raphael, Dean NEIGRIHMS delivered the Welcome Speech followed by Prof. P. Bhattacharyya, Director NEIGRIHMS who had administered the Hippocratic Oath for the Outgoing MBBS students. He also told the student community not to be worry about MCI recognition for post graduate course as the Institute is taking all measure to fulfilled MCI norms. Prof. GK Sing, Ex Director AIIMS Patna delivered the inaugural speech, who told the students to be happy in life you should make others face smile through your work and healing touch. Vote of thanks was delivered by Prof. GK Medhi, Organizing Chairman. The best outgoing MBBS student was awarded to Dr. Subronil Paul and the best outgoing B.Sc nursing student was awarded to Ms Angela Muktieh for the year 2016.
