People will not be misled by false propaganda against BJP: Kohli

Shillong, July 22: BJP national spokesman Nalin Kohli on Saturday said that those who believe in development would not be misled by “false and lies” being spread against his party because such false propaganda was created due to fear of the “politics of development.”

Kohli who was here attending a meeting of party workers, told reporters that people were creating false propaganda against the BJP because they feared that the politics of development would be more preferred by the people of Meghalaya rather than the politics of corruption or politics with no development.

“Those who believe in development are not going to be misled by such false and lies being spread in the social media and otherwise by the dirty tricks department of the Congress,” he said.

The BJP leader said that he would also meet people including members of the Christian community next month to clear the air on any misconception, as the party believed in ‘Sabka Saath and Sabka Vikas.’

“We do not distinguish a Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Buddhist, Parsi Jew or any community. We believe we should go to the poorest of the poor. The middle should get the benefit of development to increase and improve their life, and those who can set up industry must also play a role to give more employment,” he said.
