Shillong, March 27: Tura MP, Conrad K. Sangma ?has requested the Centre to open a passport office at Tura, the main town in Garo Hills.
To push this issue, Conrad met Union minister for External Affairs, Sushma Swaraj in New Delhi ?to urge the Centre to set up Passport Office at Tura ?, to which the ?Union ? Minister also ? assured the Tura MP to look into the matter, and would inform him accordingly.
?Meghalaya has one Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) ?office at Shillong ?. The office ?was inaugurated on November 14, 2014.
