Shillong, June 7: The District Magistrate, East Khasi Hill District has relaxed the curfew in areas under Lumdiengjri Police Station, that is, Jaïaw, Mawkhar, Umsohsun, Riatsamthiah, Wahingdoh, Mission, Mawprem, Lumdiengjri, Lamavilla, Qualapatty, Wahthapbru, Sunny Hill, Cantonment, Mawlong Hat including Cantonment Beat House Areas (excluding localities beyond Umshyrpi bridge) for 9 hours on Friday from 7.00 A.M. to 4.00 P.M.

However the curfew is promulgated again with effect from 4.00 P.M until further orders.

Morover, the District Magistrate, has also imposed night curfew in Shillong Agglomeration from 8:00 P.M on Friday to 5: 00 A.M on Saturday until further orders.
